Sorry guys but the "dashboard fuel pump" thing is kind of a joke but has relevance to this thread.

A loud clicking in my dashboard has started when I start my truck, It kinds sounds like the fuel pump is in the dasboard but louder.

All I need to do is turn the key to the on position and the dashboard clicking seems to follow the fuel pump / wait to start cycle... . if ya know what I mean.

Love to figure this one out a get it fixed, it's really strating to bug me:confused:

What are the temps outside? Maybe a grid heater relay acting up? When it clicks on and off it is a predominate sound.

Average temps, it's been in the 50's / 60's lately. When you say grid heater, would that be a relay? This "clicking" is coming from behind the radio.

Thanks,

Do you have the multi-disc CD changer? Could be a problem with the mechanism. Heck, even the standard single-disc unit could be faulty and make a clicking noise if there's a disc in it.

Ryan:

Thanks, I have an RB4 single disc. I'll see if it's the same with/without CD in. Maybe I'll go by the auto sound shop as well.
