I thought that the dash light bulbs were just blown, but I changed them today and it made no difference. Has anyone seen a similar issue? Most of the dash lights work, I just can no longer see the odometer, 4x4, and tow haul lights. Everything else is lit up normally. Any ideas would be a great help. I am headed down the Alcan next week and would like to have everything working. Thanks!

Well known cold solder joint issues it can be sent in and repaired . Dodge got away with murder on this one. I'll find you some links give me a few minutes

The 05's did not have the issues like the 06's and most of the 06's were issues with the tach. If you lost the leds for speedo, gears, etc, then there is a bad module or board. Possibly you could fix it if you can find a break, not if it is a chip that is bad.

Good news is you can usually buy them off Ebay for about 1/2 of new price. The miles and hours won't be right but if you can find a place to program them they can synch the two. New should initialize when plugged in. There are different styles so make sure the one you get matches what you have. The remote entry clusters are different from the non-fob ones. You can just swap in your module from the bad one and it should work fine

Do they store the Miles and Hours in the cluster?
Usually they are stored in the PCM or BCM, even my old 98 Granny has it that way.
Change the Cluster and after a restart the old values light up.
Change the BCM and the Cluster will light up with the Miles of the Donor Vehicle - Great to make the Vehicle younger. ;)

By all accounts, mileage is also stored in the cluster.
