Thanks, Surveyor Shelby. My truck is a '97, so I have the older dash with the drink holders above the stereo. I removed the drink holder tray and the useless cup where normally the fog light switch and a/t o/d switch would go (I didn't order the factory fog lights, and my truck is a 5-speed). I used a piece of ABS plastic, drilled holes in it for the gauges, and stuck them in there. Those are VDO "Cockpit" series gauges. I used VDO's 12 degree angle trim pieces to point the gauges toward me. I had to cut away the dash part that the left screw for the drink holder tray screws into, so, unless I can epoxy it back into place securely, returning the truck to stock condition might be a pain. The outer dash bezel is pretty hacked up, but it's easy to replace.
As for the drink holders, I bought some aftermarket drink holders at an auto parts store, and made my own mounts for them, using the screw holes for the shift boot. You can see one of the drink holders in the lower right. Now, liquids are down low to the floor, where a spill won't be a major disaster.
