Bought the tractor from a Dr. in Mississippi a few years back. It came with 1 tire backwards and I never beat it down to turn it around. He had 3 or 4 of these tractors to build some catfish ponds and I think it was actually a spare tire. I want to thank Matt for the post. I finally managed to resize some pictures but I guess our slug speed on its deathbed dial up internet service can't upload these pictures in the alotted 30 seconds. Thanks Matt! Rome Quit Building these tractors in '79 or 80 as it was costing $260,000 each to build and they were only able to market them for around $120K or so. You could buy John Deere , Case or IHC's biggest 4x4's at the time for around $80K. but they only had 1/2 the horsepower and lasted only 4000 hrs or so. There are many of these with over 40,000 hrs. mine has 3800. Cat recomends bearings in the axels every 7,000 hrs. (Cat 980 wheel loader axels) and engine rebuild around 10,000. hrs. Oo.
