Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Dave's Diesel, Angola, IN. Good?

Looking to have some work done to my truck and would like to get a referal about this shop. Looking to do gauges, BD exhaust brake and 60 lb. springs w/ pump and injector work to follow. I might just end up doing everything but the springs myself, but if price is right, I will have them do it all. Thanks guys! Jeff



By the way... had a great time at the Cummins / Dodge thing in Columbus Indiana last weekend! Talk about a kid in a candy store! I bought a lot of aftermarket stuff at great prices...

Jeff, you are in great hands with Rick. I can attribute all of my fueling increases to him and JD at the Muncie shop. Rick goes out of his way to make sure the customer is happy. Most importantly, they (Dave's Diesel) listen to what you want, some folks know, some don't and they are able to give educated suggestions. I miss having Rick at the Muncie shop for the pure fact that I would put him up to ANYONE when it comes to diagnosing engine problems. Good luck and I'm sure there are more testimonials to come!

diesel mechanic for over 25 years, and I've seen my share of

"experts" at diesel shops. Many are "experts" in their eyes only.

Rick is the REAL thing! Even if you know nothing about diesels,

Rick will take the time to explain everything to you and make sure your comfortable with his explanations. (never talking down to you or slinging out fancy words to impress. . ) The knowledge this man possesses is incredible.



Yes, I'm good friends with Rick, and we became good friends because of how he treated me as a first time customer. .



IMHO, Always ask all the questions you can think of. If they all get answered to your satisfaction and NOT feel like a pressured sales pitch, then your on your way to forming a great relationship... .

Rick has done a lot of work on my truck, including replacing timing gear housing. I couldn't ask for any better service. Definately will go out of the way to get the job done right.

Your name wouldn't happen to be Jeff would it? The first time I called Rick I told him it was Jeff Hahn and he acted like an old friend . (remember this is the first time I have ever talked to him) I told him that I wasn't real happy with the performance of my truck and I wanted to check on prices of injectors, how much pump mods cost, etc. He asked me what didn't I like about the truck? (he sounded perplexed) I asked him about the 215 injectors and I think he said something like "Well you've got bigger injectors than that already? Now I'm



I told him it was only a '95 model w/ the 175 engine. To make a long story short, it took us a while, but we both had a good laugh once we figured it out! Thanks for the words of encouragement. Jeff Hahn in Ohio

Rick at Dave's has worked on the pump on my truck several times and is a good guy to talk with when you have questions. I just had a problem with my truck and the fact that Rick was familiar with what I have, between what I thought and what Rick suggested we solved the problem and now the truck is running as good as ever. I HIGHLY recommend them...
