David and Goliath

After thinking about the simplicity of the terrorist attacks on the WTC and Pentagon, I can't help but see it as similar to the story David vs. Goliath.



Is it possible that we are so confident in our military strength that we aren't recognizing the simplicity of our opponent?



Is it possible that Bin Laden had something up his sleeve that could bring the giant to it's knees in a single blow?

It looks like our security "shield" may only be a "screen" designed to keep out the large nasties, while the little pesky ones slip through.

I have been thinking the same thing. I think that is part of the reason we have been so slow in reacting to these A-holes. I have talked with people who want to send jets and troops in right now. I keep telling them, how do you know that the Taliban have not cleared out the whole country and are just sitting there waiting for our troops so they can dump a bunch of anthrax or nukes or who know's god what on them? I think it's best that we take our time and not lose any more lives than we have to!

I also feel the same way. It is my feeling that the attack on the WTC was just a ploy to bring us to war in the mid east where we can kill innocent Moslems thus turning all the countries over there against us. Even though Ben Loman is a towel headed dildo he's no dummy, you can bet he has a plan and some tricks up his sleeve. I think it's a trap.

Those guys have been wanting to decalre a holy war against us for a long time. Did you guys read the statement of the "honorable" clerics which stated their law that if an infidel attacks a muslim country, a holy war is in order, and if that country cannot defend itself, that all muslims were supposed to join in the fight, etc. I think this could get nasty. If it does, you can bet I'll be signing up.

I agree! But do not underestimate the terrorists. THEY ARE IN AMERICA!! They can be normal as you and I for 10 years or more and then raise their ugly head. It will be like picking porcupine quills out of you behind! ONE AT A TIME!



The world community will have to resort to dastardly(did I invent a new word here)? means to remove the cancer. I for one hope we do not have to hear about the successes or failures, just that we are progressing in the overall plan.

I agree, our national defense was aimed at "countries" and their governments. We talked terrorist policy, but never truely refocused strong efforts on it.
