I've seen his shows. I know how to do some of the stuff. Like the waving of the hand over the quarter that sits on a volunteer's hand. Its called the Raven.



Most of it still has me baffled!

The thing where he levitates! :--) That freaks me out, I'm sure there's an explanation to it, but it's still strange.

Quarter biting is a good one! I was going to get that trick last time I was at the magic shop but it was around $35. Lot of money for 25 cents



If you want some good tricks to practice, go to your magic shop and get Copper/Silver or the Chinese coin/half dollar or Chinese coin/quarter trick.



The throwing of the deck against the store front window, and the chosen card on the INSIDE of the glass, freaked me out!

Some of the things that Blaine does are purely illusion AKA magic, but others are definitely spiritually influenced. Now, I won't go as far as to judge what force the spiritual powers are coming from but i've seen some really freaky stuff that involved demons and the dark world.

Nope, reading it over and over again still comes to - Hawkeye thinks Blaine's illusions are (at best) 'spiritually influenced', and he then evokes 'demons and the dark world' - what part did I misunderstand?

Not his entire act, just snippets on TV. I used to watch David Copperfield and Penn and Teller - their stuff was great back in the day. The man is indeed talented, but spiritually influenced? No way!

Thanks, Red-Rider - very educational. Is Mr. Blaine alleged to have this disorder? What does it have to do with demonic influences - unless the old idea that people with multiple personalities sometimes alleged demons inside them - Regan with the pea soup!

Sorry for getting to deep there! I wasn't insinuating that David is demonically influenced, I'm just saying that I have seen people do some of these things, and alot more that I won't mention, and they were demon possessed. Whether David has any "help" is not up for me to say. That's between him and his Creator.

As far as the D. I. D. issue, I wasn't saying that he has it but because people confuse demons and personalities, I took extensive training in both fields and have dealt with both in the past few years. In either case, God can still deliver and heal the most difficult situation.

But that's a WHOLE different subject.

should see the "David Blaine" episode! Some of their stuff makes me a little

uncomfortable, but I'll give them this - If there is somebody they havn't made

fun of, they just havn't thought of it yet.
