Motorcyclers near Danville,Illinois!!

Now I've seen everything - major bling - want a cheap blower?

I want to buy a Davis weather station and have been looking at the Vantage Pro wired and wireless. Have any of you diesel heads had experience with these stations?

The wireless sounds good but is it reliable? Any comments are welcome.

Thanks

Don't know about the wireless units but I have a "Weather Wizard III and its been in use for 6 years. Works great, and very accurate. Mine is a wired one , with anemometer, wind vane, inside, outside temps, alarms,,,, pretty much everything they offered back then. I see in the new catalogs they have changed and updated them,,, I think you will be pleased with one.

Cfarlow: we have had the same station you have the weather wizard III at work for the past 5 years and it works great. I am looking at the Vantage because of the technology improvement. When I started I was looking at the weather wizards.

Ttullio: thanks for the link, just the information I was looking for.

Thanks

I've had a wireless Vantage Pro Since February of 2002 with no problems. I did have to relocate the base station of my wireless phone to a different room because it would block communication between the sensor and the console.
