Day time running lights.

Yep, thats me. I am getting better at turning on the lamps but would like a no brainer approach for this particular new law. Sometimes its pretty bright out while raining.



I wonder if the wiper relay could be jumpered over to the lamp relay?? DRL's make the most sense.

I cut one wire and the head and tail lights come on all the time. When I turn the key off and leave the truck the lights turn off in a couple of minutes. The computer senses the current drain and turns the lights off.



Several months after I did the mod I had the DRL flashed so I reconnected the cut wire. As stated in an earlyer post Carson Dodge charged me $45 to do the flash.

Disable DRL?

I am living in Canada, and it is illegal to disable the DRL on any vehicle in canada that originally come with running lights, so there's no chance of getting the dealer to disable them. I am wondering if there is a module or a relay i could remove. I tried pulling the fuses but i had no luck. You can jumper the parking brake wire to shut them off, but then the lovely red parking brake light flashes on the dash constantly.
