Daylight savings time change again

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Is this a new or old idea?

Ok the 22nd is almost over----

Just a reminder to the TDR admin staff that daylight savings time is in effect.

Should we change our time settings an hour ahead, or wait till the server change is complete:confused:

Not trying to be a smart (I), Was just a friendly reminder. I know you have bigger fish to fry

Admin doesn't adjust the site clock for DST 'cuz the site is viewed world-wide and we're the only schmucks on the planet that decided that we need to mess with the clock twice a year. ;)

Daylight Saving (no s) Time is not observed in Hawaii, the Eastern Time Zone portion of the state of Indiana, and the state of Arizona but not the Navajo Indian Reservation in AZ which does observe. The Navajo Nation participates in the Daylight Saving Time policy due to its large size and location in three states. HI doesn't need it, don't ask me what's up with Indiana.

..... not strictly correct actually; DST is invoked twice a year throughout Europe each Spring/Fall, though not necessarily at the same time as the USA (usually +/- 1 or 2 weeks); I have pointed out the discrepancy to Admin before, but I guess this feature is on their list of things to do with a low priority. The actual DST functionality should really be invoked automatically as part of the Operating System, although within the personal user profile configuration, you can now select a timezone which shows the local offset for your own part of the world, but DST on/off is not possible.
