Just returned from the local dealer in Burlington, WA. I now have "Daytime Running Lights" thanks to the efforts of John in parts and Brad in service. After a quick trip to my truck with the "PRB-2" Brad had changed my vehicle setup from US to Canadian. DRL's are now funtional. This did not convert the odometer or other instrumentation to metric. Hope that this helps those of you that have 2003 vehicles and want DRL's. Unfortunately this won't work for earlier models.

PRB-2?

TMcK,

What is PRB-2?

Can you turn your daytime running lights off to override them?

I assume, the fog lights are the ones that are coming on as your daytime running lights?

What would I need to tell/ask my local dealer to have them do mine?

Thanks,

Bill

airbag off switch

Do the Canadian models also come with an airbag off switch like the older trucks do? and if so is, it an option that can be installed after the fact like the DRL's.

The wires are there behind the panel. We just need someone who is good with wiring to look at the service manual and tell us whether these are hooked up at the other end and what combination of the wires needs to be switched for airbag on and off.

Any volunteers?

I twist a the black knob and VIOLA, I have daytime running lights too. And I can cancel any time I want. That's the way I like it. ;)
