DC gave me a new truck!

Finally, after 2 months of trying to fix my oil leak, the district manager authorized me a new truck and I drove it home this morning. It was basically a MSRP to MSRP swap and they paid me for the gooseneck hitch that I couldn't remove. Thanks DC for doing the right thing for me and hopefully I'll never be back to the service deptment again.

Thanks guys, I'm very happy right now. My previous truck was black with silver around the bottom, this new one is patriot blue with silver around the bottom. I got the truck from the same dealer and its vin # is only 1 digit off from my previous vin. At first, my dealer refused to let me have the new truck by means of buyback because he wasn't going to make any money on the deal, but the Chrysler rep conviced the sales manager that it would be in their best 5star interest to go thru with the deal. Anyway, it took a couple of weeks for it all to get done, but I'm a happy camper now.

Well, as the district manager said, "there is something exceptionally wrong with your truck if we haven't fixed it by now. " I also found out today that the truck is being sent to Michigan. He offered a truck swap and I agreed to an identical truck because I believe it was a fluke. I think he would have told me to go fly a kite if I would have said I wanted my money back. Besides, it's a different color and it smells new, so it doesn't totally feel like the same truck.
