Just heard on the radio that DC plans a major restructuring next month. They are talking about closing 20 plants and laying-off 20,000 workers. I think Daimler should think about getting rid of Schremp--not sure he knows what he is doing--or does he??

He IS the one they are paying the BIG Bucks! Listen guys, whatever they do, we have our trucks and I LIKE MINE! If I do not like the new 4 door (assuming it appears) I won't buy it. I will keep mine and stuff a Gear Vendors in it. No one is holding a gun to any of our heads. I do not want a MBZ motor in my truck. If that sucker would break in Van Horn, Texas I promise you there would be no one in that town that could spell Marsaydees much less work on it. We keep looking to the future in earnest expection of the next great truck. We may already be riding in it... ... . If that is the case, I like my truck!

I didn't think they meant the company.

Schremp is gone. There is a German running it now. I've heard only a 20% cut in production. Nothing heard on plant closings.

Hi, There was a post in the 24 valve on this. Cummins is laying off 140 at the mid-range plant. It said DC was cutting back its production of there Ram pickup. It makes you wonder what is going on at DC?
