DC police and man on tractor

So did everybody just ignore this guy until he got to the pond? And how did he manage to get two vehicle in there with no reaction from the local pd?



They must've sat around on their thumbs while this guy proceeded with his business. How do you drive a tractor all the way in on suburban streets w/o getting stopped?

Pretty hard to miss that bright green and yellow paint?



Think Deere will use this in any future marketing literature?

I agree with everything you just said about the subsidies and such, I've never seen a subsidy on any farm I've been on. A lot of people dont seem to understand what goes into getting the food on their table and I get a bit annoyed about it sometimes. I'm a bit sensitized because I've been shopping for that same tractor this winter, that one is only a few years old and would bring over 70k around here assuming 145 HP.

None of this changes the fact that the guy was definitely a nut.

Even bankrupty auctions thats one helluva price. In the end it all boils down to the peanut farmer, now how often do ya hear the trials and tribulations of peanut farmers! I agree with you on the tobacco farming, its a product that should have had more thought put to it. At a time it was a booming business, now that its not it's time to move on find another crop, maybe get off your ass instead of sucking the govn't tit. In any case, this guy is a nutjob and couldn't have chosen a worse time for this nonsense. Hope they throw the book at him and those idiot war protestors who just pull the cops away from real issues.
