Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) DC reman auto

I have a friend that had the auto trans in his 2002 2500 replaced by the dealer. He said that he thought that it shifted better then it ever has. My question is are the DC rebuilds upgraded in any way, like some 48re parts in them? Or are the pretty much the same trans that came out?

I've got one in mine too. They're the same transmission, the mopar boys go through the whole thing, though. Anything that looks worn is replaced. If it doesn't look worn it's measured, if it doesn't measure up to be a new part, it's replaced. And they slap a 3yr. 36K mi. warranty on it. Once the warranty is out on mine I'm planning to go DTT or Goerend.
