Thanks Keith. But I will challenge you on what you said about the 911 or smaller pumps not cutting it for the 400+ hp crowd. Well you didn't say that they won't cut it, only that you don't know. How is it that you don't know this, yet you know so much about everything else? I have been working on the 12v forum to establish what exactly it is about the 913 pump that makes it so necessary for high hp. I don't believe that it is. And I think that a lot of people can save a lot of money by just modifying their original pump.
I am not bashing DD. Nor is it my intention to offend you. The way you do things makes smart business sense. If you could convince us all that we need your stage 4 pump to make big hp, you stand to make a lot of money. If you could convince everyone that they should stay with their original pumps, and just work with that, you could make a lot of friends, but probably not as much money. Banks knows this as well as you do. (That is not meant as a cheap shot, just a comparison)
That is what I have been trying to determine, and I believe that I have found the answer.
The only difference between the 160 pump and the 215 pump is the fill rate, and the amount of total advance that plungers/barrels have. That is it. They all have 12mm plungers and all of the cams have relatively similar amounts of lift.
Please don't let this offend anyone, which is not my intention.
My intention is to determine the TRUTH,,, AND ASK "WHY".
