? on HTT Stage 3 upgrade/turbine wheel and shaft removal

Is any one running one of these turbos on there 2nd gen 24 valve trucks? How are they? What hp are you running with this turbo. I drive my truck daily at 300hp and run the TST PM3 for fun time ,390 hp right now. How well will it work at these different levels. Dose it spool quickly? Thanks for any info.

Joe,

Can you provide any additional info on this turbo. What size exhaust housing is available? Is it wastegated? How reliable is it? What about lag? How would it compare to a modded 40? Thanks :)

Spools fast but not quite as fast as a HY35. It is a 40 in basic frame and size. 14 wastegated housing set at about 36-38 psi. Surprisingly the egts are quite good with it, but of course it ain't quite a Pius MSB like on Sickly. Not that I would want a MSB on an 04 because spool up is a critical balance with the electronic afc setup on the new trucks. The Jammer has a special exhaust housing with custom built back plate. The center cartridge is unusual with far better oiling than the 40s you are used to seeing. The bearings are custom and set up for best oiling. The shaft and wheels are not standard either, and the shaft is the strongest, least likely one to break, of any I have seen in the basic HX40 size range. On a third gen, you will get about 25 hp better than stock with this turbo. It works fine with stock power, too.

on a 3g w/ the jammer,,,,,,,,while level cruising w/ a moderate load,,,,does egt run up there fairly warm as does the hx40 would on a 2g
