This has happend twice after a hard run through the gears and rolling to a stop. I get a "lope" just like the sound you hear from SM's and Bully Dog 5's. If I give it a little fuel to speed up the engine and let it idle back down it goes away. I know it is normal for larger injectors to do this, but have any of you had your DD3's do it?

BD 3's lope too

Cliff,

I've had mine do it. It use to do it all the time when left idling to warm up but it has since gone away. They also use to do it when I started the truck, for a sec. or two.

Do you know where to find out about recalls?

Nathan

Yup DC recalls

I started a thread asking the same thing but nothing yet. I haven't got my Fp gauge yet but I have the feeling my lift pump is dead or dying. My dad was told by the stealer that there is a recall on some '01 for lift pumps.

The funny thing is I called the same dealer and asked about it. The service guy I talked to hadn't heard about it. So who's word do you take? Dad's or the unknowledgable dealers? Guess I'll just have to wait for that gauge that's on back order to see what is up. By the way, it wasn't on dodge's web site so I dunno.

DD III's and lope

Mine does it on start up. After I put it in gear its more of a growl. :D

It also stumbles under load before it warms up.

Lope

The lope has been with us since the inception of the ETH. The black in jectors also loped.

For recalls you should check Dave Fritz's site. It's available through the links section.
