Can anyone with the DDIII's tell me how much boost is normal?

I have the DDIII's and a PowerEdge with built in boost module. "Normal"? I don't know. But I can tell you what numbers I'm seeing. I've seen as high as 45psi... most of the time I see around 30 to 35. I don't have a boost elbow installed, the hole is plugged, therby totally disabling the wastegate. Doing that may increase your chances of blowing the turbo (over 45 ) if you get out of the throttle too fast, so I watch it. I haven't had any trouble with it, over 2000 miles on the DDIII's now...

I have the DDIII (ETH version) and my boost is 26psi at max. AT first I thought my boost was too low, but after I thought about it I realized, more boost only lowers egt's. And since mine stays below 1300, there was no reason for anymore. Hope that helps.

Hey Rick, I'm out here in West Phoenix, work in Glendale. Are you using the DDIII w/o a PE or VA? I have the VA and elbow, was thinking of going with DDII or at least the 275hp's. Have to do some AT work 1st. it goes pretty good as it is now.

Was wondering about the wonderful emissions program we have here what those mods do to emmisions.

Maybe I could get a ride and see what those DDIII do for ya.
