I recieved my DDIII's from Piers today and got them installed in about 2 hours on the 99 5 speed. The first time out my PM3 on 9 I was hitting 38-39 pounds of boost for a split second and then it would drop slowly. I was hitting 32-33 lbs with just the PM3 on 9.

Does this sound right? I was hoping I would get at least 42 psi boost.

I did tear my heater grid gasket and filled it in with RTV. When I looked at the engine after the test drive I noticed RTV pieces all around the heater grid area. I know I blew the silicone out.

I will have to get a new gasket for the grid.

Just wondering if Im loosing that much boost from there?

Now Im just waiting for Kwikkurt to build my B-1.

Your boost is the same as mine ,with the stock HX35,you dont want any more boost from that turbo, its just making heat at that boost pressure. I have the Comp, and dd3's,and it spikes at 38-39,and drops to 35-36 at WOT on level 5. with the box off,and just dd3's,i get 31 psi boost.

Ever since I put the 5" system on mine goes to 35psi and stays there (this is with DD2s only and stock turbo). When the weather was cool and I had the van Aaken on I could nail 40psi.
