Two things:

First, money has made up my mind for me. I no longer have the available cash to justify an injector purchase.

Second, this thread has really gotten off the track of my original question.

I think that I'll wait and buy a set of DDP's when I can afford it.

If I had money to throw at injectors, I too would choose the Mach 1. 6's. I have never heard anything bad about them and like all the customer service reports about the company.

Most of these threads comparing products from different manufacturers do take a detour from the original topic.

I really appreciate all the opinions that have been handed out. I didn't get any real useable info about the Edge injectors, but I guess that is really just a sign that I shouldn't buy them. When I Emailed DDP for suggestions, the reply was very comprehensive. When I Emailed the retailer of the Edge injectors and asked pretty much the same question, the reply was

"As we are about to go up on the Edge injectors I would highly recommend them. "

Basically, they didn't recommend the Jammers based on value or quality, but just on price. I won't be buying from anyone who doesn't take the time to answer questions prior to the sale.

Bottom line is: Either Formula Diesel or Dynomite Diesel would be a good investment. Based on research outside of this thread as well as the personal experience of one of my close friends, I'll be purchasing a set of 75 hp DDP's when I get the money saved up to do so.

Yeah, you also have to consider that if you get one dribbling injector, it could do lots of harm to that cylinder. Definitely in my opinion also, don't let low cost be the deciding factor. Wait, save up, and get the ones YOU think are the "best quality", most reliable, best running that match your driving wants best, and work with your long-term bombing plan best. If you're going to get high HP boxes, you might want to go with less injector, if you are going with mild or no boxes (which is the route I'm going to take due to upcoming smog regs) I'd go for a bigger inj. In the long run, the wait and good planning will be worth it. Plus if you buy quality and they don't end up being what you wanted, they will keep their re-selling value better.

One more vote for the DDP 75's. I did a lot of research myself prior to picking them and found no evidence that they were in any way inferior to any other injector (other than the "mine are the best" comments that we sometimes see here). I have not used any other injectors other than stock so I can't compare them myself. When it came down to making my choice, talking to the guys at DDP and getting very strong recomendations from other CTD owners in my area, made me feel very comfortable with my choice.

Since they were installed, I couldn't be happier. They made a tremendous difference and I am loving them! I won't say how much my fuel mileage has increased until I can run a few tanks thru and hand calculate the mileage. I will say that the mileage increase so far is way better than I expected...

good luck in your research. this forum is a great source of experiance and knowlege...

KCraft,

I'm really curious as to what makes you think that way about the edge sticks. I'm a DDP guy myself, but would love to know what happened to you.

we have the same mods, i bought the stg 3 edge. $600. what i know now i woulda bought ddp's or machs!!!!!

That's exactly the type of response I was looking for. Could you give some more info on what problems or characteristics of the Jammers would cause you to say you wouldn't buy them again?

I've decided two things:

1. Right now I can't justify the purchase of injectors.

2. If/when I do get some, it will be 75 hp DDPs.
