Dose any one have any feedback on these ? I was told that they make more power than the 370's and burn as clean as the 215's . Another thing to consider is how well do they match the piston bowel's ? So far from what i have heard is that every one that ran these had found them to be the best so far. mjs

I've talked to a few people about them and have only gotten good reviews. I did see a twinned 98 that had their stage4's dyno. Smoke wasnt bad at all for a 650hp truck and it didnt haze at idle like my 370's.

Hey Zach, was great to meet you up there!

As to the stage 4's I just talked to Lenny and should have a set in my hot little hands by end of the week give me till maybe end of next week and I'll have some before and after dyno results. Mike Ramos has had a set for awhile now and he is very happy with them, so much that in talking to him I just had to try a set. But I believe Mike only turned 548. Jeff

Was good to meet you too Jeff.

Doh I couldnt exactly remember his numbers for the day, guess I was a little generous.

I'll definately be awaiting your report on the 4's.

DDP offers more than one size injector for the 12v. From what I remember, the Stage 4's are 40-50 more HP more than a 370, assuming the truck has enough air to burn all the fuel.

I did talk to lenny at ddp some time back and he basicaly told me about his stage four injectors . I him about the make up on them and he told me that these were a 7 hole bosch nozzles . I guess he might feel that if they burn clean like a 215 why settle for less .

DDP is Dynomite Diesel Performance. Located in Washinton state, 360-794-7974. Real nice group of fellows work there, Lenny is the owner. Give him a call, he'll be happy to answer your questions.

7 holes

So is he putting a 24v nozzle on a 12v injector body or are they using some sort of special 12v 7 hole tip? The 24v tips have a very different spray pattern, and it is my understanding that they would not be best for a stock 12v application.

They do not use a 24V tip. They are a 5 hole 12V tip that Lenny has found. He then reworks them to produce very good power, without the extra smoke and heat you get with the 370's. He has also come up with a secret method for doing the 24V injectors that's giving excellent results. Time for a injector challenge... where are those Don M. guys that want to do some back to back testing. See who does produce not only the most power, but who is cleanest & the lowest egt's verse hp output. Should be some interesting results. Oo.

So what about the 24 valve p-pump injectors. Don says 24 valve injectors won't hold up to a p-pump conversion. I will volunteer to be a test dummy. I'm already a dummy for doing it, so test dummy would be an upgrade. If you can make mine put out good power,a real motor should scream.

Thanks for the clarification Piers, that is what I suspected.

Why won't 24V injectors hold up to a P pump conversion???? The 24v injectors normally pop off at 300 bar, 12V injectors are usually set at 245 bar. And it's not like you are flowing big numbers on your P pump, it was setup at 325CC's per thousand stroke, not sure what you had your new pump set to, but I really can't see you wanting more than that, seeings how you don't like a lot of smoke.

I am running the big bad 12 valve injectors from Dynomite Diesel Performance and saying I like them a lot is a understatement :D (They rock)

This is what you will be doing when you throw a set in. :D :D :D :--)
