King,

I agree, I would not expect II, DDP, F1 or any other performance injector manufacturer to tell us all what is done. They have done the research, tested the injectors, and deserve to be paid more for them.

I was just saying that opening up the tip on stock injectors, cleaning them, and resetting the pop of pressures might yield a decent injector, I have ran a few sets and they are not a bad injector, but IMHO they are still not of the same quality as a DDP, II, F1, injector. There is more to it than just bigger holes and F1 is a great example of this. They have a few injectors with the same size orifice in the tips but produce different power and have different smoke characteristics and this is done by other changes that can be done to the injector.

Like I said EDM'd tips on cleaned up and reset injectors are not bad and for the money they can produce a decent stick. IMHO they fall into the same catagory, or just a touch above 370s, good $$$ per HP performance but there are much better options for those who want to pay for it.

you put in the wrong thickness of copper washer which then make the tip to close or to far away from the piston to place spray in the bowl right.

FWIW - Timing can also impact how well the spary hits the bowl. PDR, when Piers was still around, said that with advanced timing trucks they felt the . 020 washer yielded the best results.
