Of course man, I know it wasn't aimed at Just me! I understand where you are comming from, and like I said. I should have waited.

I'm sure from your expeirence you wouldn't want someone else to have to do what you did. I don't believe he is a member on this board, and that is why I spoke up.

This thread sure got twisted quick Im sorry I asked such a contraversal question. I got my answer though Im going with the DDP3's the 4s sound like more than Ill ever need and DDP sounds like they're pretty easy to work with.

Look, all I can say is make sure the spray pattern is good before the install. It might cost a few bucks to make sure, but it's worth it.

OH ya... . what's the stock pop off pressure VS a modified injector? You might want to have that checked too.

The spray patern isn't good on the 370's for use the automotive engines and I've run them with no problems, and so have many others I just make sure I pay attention to my gauges. If you tractor pull your alot more likely to have engine problems than a daily driver. What do you honestly expect beat the he_l out of a truck and expect it not to have problems.

The subject here is more on the DDP4's. We all know the 370's will hit the edge of the bowl with the spray pattern.

Not all of us have that kind of money to dish out though! For me, $300 for 90 HP injectors is good enough and I can still accelerate with normal traffic with zero smoke and I have no idle haze.

I didn't at the time I bought the 370s either. It has taken me almost 5yrs to get where I'm at. Just one piece at a time. :D

The 370s are cheap power, though. :) Mine always smoked with them, and had the idle haze. The DDP4s burn MUCH cleaner, even though they are bigger.

For the people who have idle haze, do you have 191 or bigger injectors? Perhaps thats what the difference is. I'm running 181's from a 97' truck, perhaps 191's and bigger would have more so problems with idle haze.

Jim, what DV's do you have?

I love my DDP4s, no haze with 191 DVs and lazer cuts only produce 1750* at the big end of the track. DDP is a great company to work with. IMO

I'm just going to say becareful guys. I have heard of MULTIPLE major failures due to DD4's.

The details are not mine to say. They aren't my trucks. When everything is finalized and the lawyers are done, then I can say.

JP

I am just going to say call Lenny at DDP and order the finest set of injectors out there PERIOD!!!!!!!!!! I have been running injectors from DDP for two years now with zero problems, and I have seen first hand what the spray pattern looks like and it's hitting the bowl perfect. Oh and I have heard of zero failures due to DD4's, and I would not hesitate to throw a set in any truck I owned. :D
