Got in truck after not started for a week and small red light was glowing and a ticking sound being emitted from dash, battery was dead. I had left the key in the accessory position all week. Any ideas what the red light and ticking sound was. Everything is ok after recharging batteries.

Most of the electrical stuff on the new vehicles don't like battery voltages under about 10 volts. Once you get that low they start going crazy and doing things they are not supposed to do. The noise was probably a relay or high side driver in a controller going nuts from the low voltage.

Especially when flashing controllers you need to hook up a battery charger and keep the voltage around 13-13. 5 or the controller might lock up.
