If you think a Cummins has a dead pedal you oughta try and get on the pedal with a 6. 0 powerjoke. Hells bells, I don't even think that the Cummins with the Holset qualifies as having a dead pedal after driving a powerjoke.

I think if it is the go pedal you may be having issues with the throttle Positions sensor
