Any problem using Amsoil (for a diesel) in a honda generator?

Hi Everyone,

Well, it's been a long year and half to get my bills paid down also get into house. Now I'm nearing the end where I can finally purchase my truck. I've been looking at some of the web sites and sent off questions to these guys wanting to know when the deadline is to place an order for a 2002 truck, but I'm not getting any responses since I perfer the contact method of "email" instead of a stupid phone call. Can anyone out ther help me out in letting me know the time when they would stop taking orders for the 2002 truck?

Thanks, Michael

PS: I'm in Omaha and willing to go 300-500 miles to pick the truck up, heck, if the price was really good, I'd go further!

Ordering a 2002

Don't know the exact date of last order, but I seem to recall early May as typical. However, that might be different this time around for the Ram, with the 2500/3500 body style change for 2003. You shouldn't have to go much further up the road for your truck than Woodhouse in Blair. I bought mine from them last February, after ordering it the previous Novenber. Got the truck right at invoice, and then I also got the $500 Farm Bureau rebate, a $1000 DCC rebate to the customer and a $500 incentive to the dealer. So I was effectively $2000 under invoice.

Don't wait until the last second either. It should be in mid to late may. BUT, just because you have an order in doesn't mean dc is obligated to build it. What i'm saying is, say you place an order may 10th, the factory is running 30 days worth of trucks {that number varies daily}, so that means the factory wouldn't build it until june 10th or so.

I would start checking the dealers in march and get your order in by the first of april to be safe. My 2 cents.....

My friend, a truck fleet sales manager with Dodge, claims Dodge will stop production on the 2002 Ram sometime in early March so they can re-tool for the 2003 Ram 2500/3500 and beyond trucks.
