dealer doesn't know how to check build status??

Alright, I'm getting antsy... truck was ordered right before Christmas and I was told 6 to 8 weeks, but I called to see how I can check the status and my salesman didn't know how. With the recent posts, I'm getting excited... question is, how do I check status?? I did a search but I don't have my VIN. any help is appreciated!!!

Your dealer will have a VON (Vehicle Order Number), get that and call 800-992-1997 and follow promts to speak to customer service rep. Ask for the status and give them the VON. Ordered mine 12-16 and it's in D1 status scheduled to be built Feb 1st.
