Joe G. , I'm moving to Eureka tomorrow!
Read my tale of woe, in the thread, who makes the best Dodge trucks. The 3 dealers here in San Diego that I have had the misfortune to deal with have all been bloody awful.
Last incident, had the hard starting problem after truck sat for several days, am disabled so not uncommon. Saw TSB on Fritz's site and printed it out and took it to HINE Dodge. 7 days later with no offer of rental car or loaner, not that I needed one, got truck back. Charged me $71 USD for fixing main battery connections, said they were loose. Within 6 days the problem happened again.
I took it back again with a second copy of relavent TSB. This time they kept the truck for 10 days! Called me and said that it was a bad hose, no ****e Dick Tracy! When I picked it up they wanted to charge me $70 USD for changing that hose. I really blew my top right in the middle of the cashier/waiting area. Upshot, no charge.
Now extended warranty is up on purchase anniv. Nov. 4th and its good bye to Dodge dealers.
Other problems are mentioned in other thread so no sense repeating them here. Will be fixed by independents, all lined up, all with recommendations from satisfied customers.
