Self explanatory. Looking to buy or order new truck within the next few months. Live in East Central NC, but would entertain dealers in VA or SC if it's worth my while. Undecided between 5. 9 or 6. 7. Have the utmost faith in Cummins to produce a good product with the 6. 7, and the 6 speed auto has caught my attention.

Thanks,

Jay

Can't remember the dealers name  , but they were in Cary NC. Seemed to have a good selection and price was decent. Kirwin (TDR member) told me about them when I was looking for my '05. Didn't buy from they due to distance, bought at Williamsburg Dodge. I was very happy there over all. Check them out on the web. I can always swing by to check something out if it'll help you :D

I had a post in the 6. 7 forum when I went nationwide to find the best deal on a new truck,, Steve White would have beat everyone,,, shipping to the west coast killed the deal. . when I told him that they went to work and found a cheaper shipper. . while I still bought from a western dealer,, if I lived east of the rockies I would have done it...

as stated . . look at them on ebay,, they put some lost leaders out there,, if you can find one optioned like you want its a great way to go... I found a new 6. 7 cheaper than west coast dealers would sell an older 5. 9... as it was I ended up finding a good deal and being happier with a 5. 9... . in a couple of years when the 6. 7 has gone thru tweaking it might be a great setup,, I didnt want to be the first year guinea pig

Family has always had good luck out of Smith Stokes in Reidsville NC, I would say 85% of dodges running around here have come from there. Second largest dealer in the state.

Thanks for the info, guys. Went to a dealer today to start the process, and the salesman was totally clueless. I don't expect them to know as much as I do about their product, but the 6. 7 was news to him. Isn't that funny, I mean I'm in sales, I'd either have it made or be embarassed if my clients knew as much about my product as I did, not sure which one. Not a dealer anybody's named yet.

I've bought two vehicles from Hendrick Dodge in Cary and would NOT buy from them again. Both experiences should have been simple and straight forward but they blew both of them. Service is top notch, the finance guy was great, but the sales side left a lot to be desired.
