Regular cab with manual & 4wd are very very difficult to find in 3rd generation. Almost impossible in 2nd generation, and if you do find one, they are usually look like they have been rode hard and put away wet.

I just can't justify buying new when my 04 3500 with the 5600 trans, no emissions what so ever, have it equipped the way I want it, no issues except the air freezes up every once in while, and it has never been opened up. It pulls what ever I can possibly hook it to, and the best damn part of the whole thing is I have had the title since 09. Now I plan to retire in Sep 18, and I want to see what the new body styles are going to look like. If they "should" make a MCLB, then that will be a whole new game. I ****ed if do and I guess I'll be ****ed if they do the MCLB

I wonder what my '02 with less than 85K is worth to the dealer...:D

Undoubtedly, not enough...:-laf

I guess my '03 I bought last year for 19k with 90K on it was a good deal. It is the truck in my profile pic. I have lots of people trying to buy because of the 5.9. Only wish it had a 6 speed in it

Gary,

Sorry, don't see that happening to YOUR truck. IF you let that one go, the guys with the straight jacket will be on the way to your place.

The trouble is, here in Ohio they rust out before they wear out.

Now that's a true statement. I bought a 7 year old Jeep years back which spent most of its life in Ohio. As a naive Arizona resident, I underestimated what a problem rust is in other states. Every maintenance job (broken bolts) for years was exponentially more difficult than any other vehicle I've owned.

That's why I always use anti-seize whenever I reinstall anything on my vehicles. I got the Zeibart sound deadening protection too. I dropped the fuel tank on my Jeep CRD last Saturday and wished they had sprayed behind it.
