No, he means Black book. It's published by Kelly unless I'm mistaken. You have to be a licensed car dealer to get them.

I can get my hands on one, but it may be a week or so. I'll let you know.

no, it's a blue book. I have several copies from last year. Haven't gotten this quarters copy yet, but i can tell you they are out of date by the time they print them. It's more of a ballpark figure, your local market conditions set the price anyways, those books are useless.

No one I know around here uses Kelly, NADA is what all lenders in our area use. Be ready for somewhere around 65k and letting them shaft you on a new one. I'd stick with 70k as my base, but those are not marketable here in high quantity.

There's lots of markup on imports, be careful and do your homework (which is what you seem to be doing anyway). Good luck

I need the one that the dealer uses to give the quote on how much they would pay me for the car. Is that what your looking for? Thanks for all the replys

I would expect to get KBB.com traid in value from the dealer.

I would try the MB dealer first.

A private used car dealership might want to make a deal where they sell the car and then pay you for it.

sorry I have a Black Book only it's for Trucks only . . got it from a friend. . he may have a car book also. . e-mail Barry Millet our moderator for the tow/trailer section. . maybe he can help ya out

I will be willing to bet they arent going to give you even close to what ANY book says its worth, especially if they are buying it outright (no trade). They can go to an auction and buy for between 50 and 75% of what a book says.

But, I have been wrong before. Good luck, and let us know how it works out.
