Dealer's reason why there are no 3500s in NE lots

I thought that rail was the king for auto transport- But my truck was shipped via ship- to baltimore then trucked to the dealer. Weird- they cant put a couple of steel ribbons to a plant in mexico???

It must be more cost effective (read cheaper) to send via boat.
