V22 Osprey crash killed a friend.

Merry Christmas, TDR!

I was afraid this was coming. Deanna lost her fight with cancer last night and has moved on to a better place. Larry's dad came by the store today because Larry wanted me to pass on to everyone on the site this sad news. Everyone would like to thank all of you who have kept up with this and offered your prayers, hopes and donations. Please keep the family in your prayers and thoughts in these trying days ahead.
If any of you would like to send sympathy cards or pass on condolences, you can send them to Larry Haines at PO Box 337, Mason Tx. 76856. I don't have an email address right now but if you want to email instead, you can email me and I'll see that they get passed on. Again, on behalf of the whole family and everyone involved with the fundraising efforts, THANK YOU.

Please pass on our sincerest sympathy because we know the most difficult time is upon that family now. Our thoughts are with them. It takes the most courage and faith to go on from here.
Sincerely,
Bill & Shanti Kondolay

I received an email from Steve Schooley, the guy who was pretty much heading up all the efforts localy. He asked me to forward this note from him to ya'll and I felt obliged to do so.

I just wanted to let each and everyone of you know how much you meant to Deanna. You let her know through all of your donations and posts that there were people who did care about her. The one thing that really amazed her was that you didn't even know her. She mentioned that over and over.
Deanna Haines of Mason passed away this past Wednesday night after her fight with cancer. We laid her to rest Friday morning; even though her body is gone, her memory will live within us for the rest of our lives.
I just wish that each and everyone of you could have had the chance to meet her face to face and been able to witness the fact that the sun just didn't seem to shine as bright as when she smiled. She will be dearly missed. I thank you all again for what you have done.

Sincerely yours,
Steve Schooley

Haven't been on in a while to check the forum, but am very sad to hear about Mrs. Haines, she's now in a better place without pain and suffering. My prayers are now with Larry and his family, this must be a very tough holiday for him.
God Bless them all
