talked to guys at jackitt.com and tuff country today and they both know exactly what the wobble is. alignment cured it every time they say. they said the reason it took my '01 longer to start the wobble is cause it was probably alot closer to specs than the '94 was when the kit was installed. i had never had it aligned in all it's 190,000 miles. so off to alignment shop with both of them.

Just curious ICEMAN,

Did you get the problem fixed with both trucks.

Sorry for asking if you posted this in another thread somewhere.

cooker,,yes i did,,so far! had alignment done and had the caster set 1 notch to the positive side and no problems to date. someone had posted the info about the positive caster setting and that the lower ball joints must lead the upper(similar to motorcycle forks). i printed it and took it to the shop and he agreed. raising the front changes the caster so that the lower joints dont lead the upper enough and you need it corrected when you install the lift. the instructions that come with the lift say take it straight to an alignment shop but dont explain why. now i know why!also, any lift over 2" will require the longer lower control arms because there is not enough room to get the caster set to positive with the stock arms. sorry i didn't update this before but i've been kinda busy with the tdr logo's and gate graphics.
