Debadged 2006-Just the begining

I have been reading and searching the TDR for 2 years now. So, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to show my "work in progress" to date. It is a 2006 2500 Laramie J with 17,000 worry free miles since March of 2006. I just got done debadging all of the chrome emblems. I don't like the look of chrome so all I have left to switch is the grille and rear bumper. Anyone want to trade. I put on H2 rims with 315's for the winter. I hope to be picking up some 18's or 20's for the summer. I am currently undecided on a suspension system purchase for my truck. I do tow with the truck (from 5,000 to 10,000lbs) and I rarely go offroad except for finding an occasional snowmobile trail. I am really undecided between Carli and Kore systems. Well thanks for looking and I am going try and be a little more vocal on this thread. I have many questions regarding performance upgrades that I feel confident the members of this forum will have vast knowledge about.

Nice looking truck! I agree the badges are a little much. That was one of the first things I pulled too.

Good looking truck! For suspension you may also want to consider Lorenz. I too have been looking and researching, and initially shunned everything but Kore; however, the more reading I do, I'm starting to think maybe it's best I've procrastinated, and have allowed Carli and Lorenz into the picture...

Thanks for the good words. The step bars are made by N-Fab. They make both six step and four step types. They mount to the pinch weld below the doors and are very strong. My wife doesn't like them at all, she says the step is too small compared to the Westins I had on the 2002. So they might be up for grabs shortly.

sweet!! debadged looks good. and another one who doesn't care for chrome. the only chrome i have left on my truck is the dodge ram decal on the grill & bug deflector. . i may pull my chromes off and paint them to match body color

I'm planning on giving my baby a new dress this spring, she should have 275,000 miles or so by then. I'll de-badge her along with the new paint
