Decals

Hi Everyone,



First, I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.



Does anyone know where I might get decals? I would like to remove the factory 24 valve emblems from the doors and the SLT emblems from the back cab quarter and replace them with decals, vinyl graphics or whatever.

Iceman sells some vinyl graphics that are good, E-mail him and find out. He was able to make them smaller for the door area or large like 18" for the tailgate. the decal on the lower area is the one he makes. it is 12"

My decals are coming off my tailgate this week as it is being repainted after being rear ended



I desided to keep them off figuring that I know what I am driving and why do others need to know. Might put just a third gen cummins C on and nothing else. Don't what to completely suprise them with the black cloud

I have seen a few truck aound here with third gen chrome tags that look pretty sweet on a 2nd gen truck.

Just be like Dean (WeirCummin) and take all badges off the side doors, and replace them with CUMMINS ISB... . That looks awesome, and it makes the outsiders wonder what an ISB is!! :-laf :-laf

I personally dont, but there may be some on the Lone Star Turbo Diesel Registry website... look on there at recent events, and if not, I will get some next time I see Dean's truck.

I've thought about removing everything and leaving it off like you guys suggested. The only reason I like to remove that kind of raised stuff is for cleaning and waxing. It's a PITA getting all the crud or wax out of the raised letters. I had thought about some vinyl graphics just for something a little different. I don't think leaving off the Cummins stuff would be deceptive very long. I don't think I can get my engine quiet enough (or would want to) to fool anyone even if I tried. If they can't tell the difference between a diesel and gasser, they probably couldn't give you much comp. anyway.

Any computerized vinyl graphics shop can make up about anything you want. They can do "official" Cummins stuff or what I did, which was have "cummins" printed in "new dodge" font. I see if I can find it.



These guys were set up at a flea market.
