December TDR rally?

As noted on another thread, Glenn Thomas Dodge will not be holding the Dieselfest this Dec. 1 in Long Beach CA.



Rick Peet Dodge in Pahrump NV (an hour out of Las Vegas) is interested in holding such a meet Dec. 14, 15. We could add in dyno testing, tour of Diesel Dynamics, etc. to the usual events done at the Glenn Thomas meet.



Mid December is pretty good in Pahrump as many of the snowbirds have left for Christmas. Prices at the hotels and RV parks are low.



IS ANYONE INTERESTED???

If only the it didn't snow in the Rockies... the wife and I'd be there in a heartbeat. Keep me informed Joe... maybe we'll fly out.

OK, Bob, you have volunteered to organize and host a meet in Abbotsford. Great.



What does that have to do with southern Nevada? I can't help with a Canadian meet, but I can help Rick Peet Dodge put one on here, if folks are interested. These meets don't happen because the great gumbo of TDRdom puts them on and decides where to do them next. These meets happen because folks volunteer their time and put them on near where they live.



So far I have one vote if there is no snow (well, there won't be any here ) and one vote that the location is no good but a meet is good.



Any more votes or are Rick and I wasting our time? 9000 folks are signed up on this board, anyone interested?

Well... Heck. . if we can get some of us going out there in a bit of a caravan... you better believe we'll make it (not volunteering anybody). I've never used chains... . but what a good time to learn... right DHess???
