I have a 2001 dodge with a open Dana 60 in the from and a new open dana dually. I also have 3. 54 gears in it. I need help trying to decide what type of locker i should put in it. Im thinking of these options. Front an ARB Air Locker and ARB in the rear. ARB in front and a Detroit locker in the back. ARB locker in fornt, Limited slip in rear. I also drive this every day.

I plan on going with dual ARB's, mostly because when you are on ice, it is best to have an open rear axle than one that is locked. If you run a locker in the back on ice, your truck will be wanting to swap ends with just a little bit of fuel. Just my $. 02 worth.

if money is not a problem id go with the arb's front and rear. it will save your tires on the street, and when you pull flip the switch and you are good to go.

If you want the Detroit in the rear of the Dana 80 you will have to go with 4. 10 gears. When we did our truck, the 01 Detroit only made 4. 10 gears.
