I need some updates, are you guys happy with these?
Whish you would have bought a different set?
Best place to buy?
Thanks,
Gene

Are these the boards with the black end caps front and back? Inside the endcaps there is the steel support insert that ISN'T stainless and turns to rust powder after a few years.

I pulled them off my Dad's Dodge this weekend and the caps were literally disintegrated (which is why we took them off, they were falling off on their own).

If you're going stainless buy Luverne's. I've had Luverne stainless boards on two of my trucks and they're great. In fact, I installed my old Luverne set on my Dad's truck. I'd removed them from mine for clearance pushing snow.

Thanks Mark,
I checked out several different sites with Luvernes. Trouble was, The pictures were very small.
Do you have any close ups?
Was their kit complete, or did you have to improvise quite a bit?
I see they also do not brag about priceing, can you give me ballpark?

I may start a whole new post asking for pictures.
I love that stainless!

There are several pictures at my website -- the white truck (current) and my black truck (my first Dodge diesel). They aren't very big pictures though. And if you're socialist inclined you should scroll through the political commentary mighty quick or you'll get steamed (or educated #ad
).

Oh yeah, price. Expensive. About $795 (full retail in '98) including the front of bed to rear wheel well pieces.
