Well it finally happened. Got a doe on Monday night.
Clipped the front drivers side of the bumper (didn't appear to damage the bumper - just left some hair at the fog light) and knocked it about a quarter of an inch out of alignment.
The real damage is where the deer bounced off the drivers door. Pushed in the door about 4" at the center. Both the front and rear of the door are now out about a quarter of an inch. :{
I have been thinking about upgrading the bumper already to a heavy duty one - now I know I am. Even though the bumper handled it pretty well - I would rather know that you can take em head on instead of them dribbling down the side of the truck.
Does anyone have a Dixie Manufacturing Bumper on their truck?
Like what I see on the website but want some real world info instead of marketing.
Thanks,
