Another Doc Tinker question for ya

I used to go to the zoo and get lion **** but they wont give it to me anymore. It worked real well but it was a lot of trouble. Now, 1 egg in a quart of water and mix at high in a blender. Spray the mixture on succulant plants. It dos'nt work as well as lion ****... the deer would not even come into the yard when I used it. The deer now take one sniff and a little nibble and they are not interested. It must be renewed every week.

Go to a barber shop and get the cut hair. It works great and won't harm any plants and you dont have to smell roten eggs. It works well in Texas anyway.

I have to agree with the hair thing. I have heard of guys that sprinkle it around deer feeders to keep deer from coming to a feeder of someone they are mad at. Must work!

doc in a spray bottle

Maybe you could just have her put Doc in her yard. He can tell stories. That'll keep the deer out, but she'd soon get heards of Dodge guys hangin around. Probably better off with the deer, they eat less than this group. Tim

For those of you who suggested a dog I have news for you. Her half Malamute half german shepard sits on the porch and watches these things eat the bushes. The dog is aparently a bit different than other dogs.

deer problem

I've heard that if you put blood meal in a cloth bad and hang it around deer don't seem tolike it. My problem is the herd of Elk that run thru my yard going to the creek (20-30 of them).

anyway, try the blood meal. . or maybe spray some ammonia around the bushes might help too. just a thought !

:)

I think you should not tell her any of these cures until she has had enough. Once she is open to "harming them" then you can be the hero.
