We had a pot luck dinner here a month ago. Since I wasn't going to town to get something, I took a jar of spaghetti sauce (that I got a Wally World on closeout), a can of black olives, and a couple of smoked deer sausage my brother and I conjured up Thanksgiving 04.
Figured spaghetti would be a big seller and I'd have some leftovers to hold me over for a couple of days. WRONG... they slicked it clean

Turned out very good and folks were asking where I got the sausage.
So, this Thanksgiving Jim and I were once again grinding, stuffing, and smoking.
The meal I eat the most, since my wife is in BZ, is a elk steak fried in a little olive oil, covered with fresh minced garlic and black pepper with a dash of soy sauce. Plus a bowl of salad, i. e. cabbage, califlower, broccoli, minced jalapenos and onions. Make the salad once a week and it is also great to toss a handful into the top raman at lunch time.
