Deer Season opens!!!!!!!!!

Will be rolling to northern Wisconsin this Friday morning up to Hayward. Anyone else gettig out this coming weekend? If anyone will be around 90/94, in Wisconsin, let me know.

Got back from Houston Finals and took three days off to concentrate on hunting. Only needed 3 hours, tagged out by 0930 Monday. One buck, two does and almost 300 lbs of meat! I'm not a trophy kind of guy, just meat. My best friend on the other hand loves to trophy buck hunt so we went to a TDR member's 600 acre farm and I lost count of the deer I was seeing! My buddy has taken 4 deer, 3 coyotes since Monday also. Its been a great hunting season so far!

600 acres!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Daym, I could only dream of that. We hunt 165 up by Hayward. The deer up there arent much bigger than a dog! :{

Hey EM, this is kinda off topic, and I'm new to TDR, but I was checking your pics out, are you the driver of that digger? The reason I ask is, I race a 78 Firebird, (10. 50 car) at Route 66 in Joliet.

Gearing up for Saturday. Ready to thin the herd. Got to get the bucks to growing. This season is meat season. Maybe in another year or 2 of management we can get those bucks racked up.

We hunt northern Minnesota. We filled out for the year with a 12 point, two 8 points, spiker and a doe. These are two of the ones I shot, my dads 8 point and doe and my spiker are not pictured.

Tramplineman; we can only shoot one buck per season nice bucks btw! I'd definitely have tossed lead at that 10-point!

Juvenile season was Oct 29-30 around here. My 10 year old did pretty good

This weekend is the third weekend for me going hunting. Not pulled the trigger yet but it is getting cooler here in Texas so this weeekend it should be good. I turned down several spikes and does but time to put something in the freezer. Opened November 5 and goes to January 1st. With a week off for Thanksgiving and over two weeks for Christamas I am very lucky in getting to spend a lot of times in the woods.
