I have changed Oil & Filter, also changed Fuel Filter on Engine, cycled the fuel pump 6 times, fired up and everything seemed fine. Now there's a DEF drip, wet inside the Exhaust tip, smells like DEF. Anyone have this happen????

Thank you in advance for any information on this.

The truck was driven 10 miles before oil and filter changes.15000 miles total. 1 cup or so of fluid dripped out and blew some on the pavement out of the exhaust end. engine was warm for the oil change. There is a thin white stain on the exhaust and pavement... EGR?????? Antifreeze???? DEF????? Crystalized like hard water stains? I have that. Getting ready for a trip, guess I don't want to end up camped out at a strange dealer... Thank again

Not to say you don't have a problem, but water is the natural byproduct of the DEF system. I see water dripping from tailpipes all the time on our buses. Here's a quote from an article on it:

Exhaust fluid is converted into ammonia, which reacts with the remaining NOx in the SCR catalyst to produce harmless nitrogen and water.

While changing my differential cover out a few days ago I started the truck to see if the temp sensor was working. I saw a very odd drip come from exactly the same location as your photo. It looked long and stringy as it dripped but when I did the touch and smell test it seemed like water. My 2012 doesn't use DEF. I assume is was condensation.
