Friend had an issue when he was driving brand "C". took the truck in a couple of times due to a sensor issue caused by the bad DEF. There is not anyway to drain the tank when the fluid goes bad. We all may have this issue down the road especially down South with the summer heat. Just something else that will need to be watched.

No drain on any of the Ram or Jeep vehicles. Most of the time you have to pull the tank and drain it.

I always (unless in an absolute pinch) buy my DEF in bulk at the pump. The way I see it----if there's an issue regarding DEF quality / purity / contamination, that results in a large repair bill, I'll simply go back on the retailer where purchased and file a claim much in the same manner if I purchased contaminated #2 diesel fuel. The engine hours, truck odometer, and all of my "Trip A" info are recorded on every fuel receipt.
