Why is the blue def more expensive then other brands ?

I have no idea why its more, But DEF is 32.5% Urea 67.5% Deionized water. Its all The same.

I'm not sure what you think is high. Farm and Fleet has it right for $8.99, Wal mart usually $11.97, Amazon about the same. Maybe a little higher some times but I wait and it comes down. Blue Def also one of the only ones that comes in a box. That will help cut sunlight exposure very important for Def fluid.

Not sure......but it's a non-issue for me as 95% of my DEF is purchased at the pump.

Buy @ pump if you can do so conveniently. I have kept & refilled my last 2 empty 2.5 jugs. I keep one with me just in case.

I am paying the same price at NAPA as Wally World.. And his turn over is fast. He only stocks about 10 of the 2.5 gal jugs.

Hi DGamelin. See the discussion on this topic in the other thread running at the moment: just-bought-a-carton-of-DEF. The answer is yes - it will last for about 2 years if stored at 75 degrees F or less, out of direct sun.
