air bag recall?

I own a 2004 SRT-10 Ram and also a 2006- 3500 Diesel Ram Laramie. Both of these vehicles have been recalled for the Takata defective air bag inflaters that could cause serious injuries. I have been contacting several dealers repeatedly to get this issue resolved. I continually hear that the correct replacement parts are not available. I know many of you have generation 3 pick-ups. How have you had this issue resolved? Are we all getting the same lame story? Please let me know how to address this problem?

I am not opposed to joining some sort of class action if that's what it takes to get FCAU and Takata to accept their legal and moral obligations!!

Thanks,
Chuck Rice

This is the first I have heard of this. I have a 2006 Dodge Diesel 2 wheel drive short bed 4 door. I have not been contacted by Chrysler as yet. Is Chrysler going to do the recall?

How is it a lame excuse? They don't have parts, almost every vehicle manufacture that used those airbags are saying the same thing. It will take some time for takata to come up with money or parts to fix all the vehicles. So sit back and relax, nothing can be done.
