Here's my situation.

When accelerating through the gears, and the rpm's reach 2000 the truck seams to defuel until it reaches about 2150 rpm's and then takes off again. This may be related to my skip, hesitation problem.

I should note I run 275's, VA, and PS boost mod. My fuel guage is installed but I'm waiting for the banjo bolt to show up to do final connection. So can't eliminate that as a problem yet. It is a fairly new lift pump though.

Under heavy acceleration when the rpm's pass over this range it feels like a bad skip.

I am wondering if my boost mod is malfuntioning, because it has set an over boost code in the past even with the module.

Any input is appreciated.

Diese1nut,

I suggest that you remove the VA and boost module and see if the truck will pull to smoothly to redline. If that doesn't fix it then spend <$20. 00 and rig a temporary mechanical test guage through the hood/cowl seal and fasten it to the wiper arm. Another test drive will verify your pump pressure. Keep the test guage setup to verify your dash mounted fuel guage, my experience with electonic fuel sending units (if you use one) is that it will need testing shortly. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
