Competition Dekalb Sled Pull Columbus Ohio

Saturday Night, Columbus Ohio state fair grounds.



Mostly Mitchellized trucks in attendance, some Strokes, one Duramax.



Sledpuller won this event (Watch as Genes ego gets even bigger!:-laf :-laf )



Too bad there wasnt 300 feet to use(only about 245?), about all the trucks made almost a full pull.

I agree jw, they either should have kept adjusting the sled or had a longer track. It was still a pretty decent showing. Since they were all making close to full pulls, me and the guys i was with were taking bets on who would hit the straw blaes to get the win. For a minute there i thought Sled Puller was gonna do it.

I believe I had 251 feet, and I stopped. Nobody else made 250.



My expert driving skills let me stop just shy of hitting the bales.

I wasn't worried about the bales, I was concerned with the concrete barrier they were stacked against, not much give there.

Hey Pancake

How about letin me know the next time there is going to be a pull in our back yard. What did you figure I'd try to pull and talk you into it too. Sounds like a better thing to do on a Saturday night than dropping the old T-case out and trying to figure out why I only have low gears now.
